Camping and Outdoors | Get Back to the Land
Camping and outdoors is one of the most basic hobbies that allow everyone to get out and see the natural beauty our great country. Camping and outdoors activities have always been a fun way to entertain and educate the family without costing a fortune. With thousands of national, state and public parks you have many choices for camping and outdoor activities.
Lots of folks, especially those of us a bit older, prefer the ease and convenience of recreational vehicles (RV's) to see the natural beauty our great country offers. From magnificent motor coaches, fifth wheel trailers, to pop up campers, RVs offer quick setup and modern conveniences (like air conditioning) for easy camping and outdoor living. Weekend getaways are not so tough with one of these.

Other folks prefer the tent and tarp, better known as car or truck camping, which offers a more traditional way of camping and outdoors fun. There are many primitive camping and outdoors areas that truck campers can take advantage of that RV’s aren’t very practical for.
For many purists there is only one form of camping and outdoors: wilderness. Backpackers and horseback have the ultimate flexibility in accessing the true hidden treasures in the camping and outdoors world minus some conveniences. For solitude and a real wilderness experience; hiking out in the boonies is the only true form camping and outdoors.
Another way to get off the beaten path for great camping and outdoors enjoyment is river camping. Canoes, kayaks and flat bottom river boats offer a great escape as well as challenging fun in a camping and outdoors venue. America has over 250,000 rivers many of which offer some stretches of wilderness. Even the Mississippi River has beautiful wilderness experiences at the headwaters in Minnesota.
Regardless of your camping and outdoors preference, campers share a love of the great outdoors. Most of us tend to be of the conservationist belief and truly want to preserve America’s great spaces. We can all enjoy the crackle of a campfire, marshmallows and peace we feel when spending time camping and outdoors. Click Here to find a great selection of gear and supplies for camping and outdoors.
